As a native Southern Californian, after searching NYC for decent reasonably priced MX food this is the only place I've found, aside from street taco vendors or very expensive Rosa's with yummy authentic Mexican dishes, not "Tex-Mex" chipotle seasoned cuisine. Calexico's service isn't great, nor is the atmosphere, but it's clean, they have a fun juke box and let you BYOB. Their tortas, enchiladas, quesadillas, and nachos are all great. Sadly, they'll sometimes charge you for chips & salsa and you have to pay for pico de gallo (fresh chunky salsa). They deliver! It's my favorite comfort food (if comfort food can be Mexican food) place citywide.
